Lothar Kalawski
My name is Lothar Kalawski. I was born in 1958 in Weiterstadt, where I still live. In my younger years, I trained as a steel construction fitter, then became a master craftsman and CAD designer. My art is diverse, my images are powerful. I came to painting as a self-taught artist. For me, painting is a confluence of liberation, energy, and leisure, as well as an expression of fantasy and reality. I primarily paint with acrylics and oil pastels. I realize my ideas on canvas or cardboard.
