Born in 1934 in Baden, I grew up closely connected to nature, music, and all things beautiful. As a Boy Scout, I ventured out into the woods and fields. Professionally, I was drawn to the technical field, and soon became familiar with paints, textiles, and dye chemistry. Through lacquer work, textile dyeing, drawing, and photography, as well as an interest in art, I came to painting with professional support—Master Khem's painting workshop—and discovered my great joy in oil and acrylic painting. I also dabbled in Plexiglas embedding and painting framing. Online
I now offer works created by myself and in collaboration with the famous artist Khem, for the joy of artistic creation and not to earn a living. The paintings depict many local motifs – out of love for my hometown of Darmstadt. Pictures with Mediterranean motifs also testify to my joie de vivre and enthusiasm for all things beautiful, and are often humorous.
